Our Lives Together

We both grew up in Brighton, CO just 3 blocks from one another, but 3 years apart in school (Chris being the elder), so we did not know much of each other until later.  Crystal went out with her friend, Hanna, one night in Denver, to meet up with Hanna's older brother, Zac and his friend, Chris.  After dinner, everyone went over to Chris' house, where Crystal fell in love with Woody and Chris knew it would be a great match.  :) 

Hanna and Zac helped to keep us in touch and shortly after, we started dating.  Even though it's been hard at times with distance (Chris lives in Denver and Crystal lives in Greeley), we have had some great times together over the past 3 years.  We are very lucky to have found each other and are excited to spend the rest of our lives together!

The Engagement...

On May 5, 2010 Chris took the leap!  Crystal was making a Mexican inspired dinner for the happy couple when Chris showed up with some Dos Equis and a bottle of champagne.  Crystal inquisitively asked, "What's the champagne for?"  Chris replied, "To celebrate", as he dropped to one knee.  And the rest, as they say, is history...

Meet The Woods...

Woodrow, Woody, or simply "The Woods" as his closest friends call him, is Chris' 11 year old Chocolate Lab.  He enjoys long snoozes on the couch, barking at the Mail Man, and devouring rawhide treats by the dozen.
